This toolkit has been created for Farming with Native Biodiversity to help catchment groups understand more about native biodiversity and develop goals for their area to protect, manage and enhance biodiversity on farms.
The workshop resources include a guide with the agenda, hyperlinks to each activity, a presentation file and facilitator notes. As well as other tips, suggested resources, and a list of stationery items you will need to conduct your workshop.
The workshop is designed to be an introductory level tool to start conversations around biodiversity in your catchment. The workshop outputs could be useful to add into a catchment plan, but this workshop does not cover all the elements of a catchment plan, just the biodiversity related work. We use the word catchment throughout, but this can equally mean sub-catchment or other landscape scale area.
